How do you know He is the one? I remember my mother telling me, “you’ll just know.” 91.3 KGLY East Texas Christian Radio When You Know He's the One Heard On Air BlogWell, that was not the reply I wanted. I wanted to know without any doubt or question and I wanted something tangible. But when I eventually did fall in love with my husband, I understood what my mother told me. She was so right… you’ll just know!

When I read this story about a young man proposing to his girlfriend, I was thinking he would need more than one ring. That’s because in addition to asking his girlfriend, he had to ask her little sister too. The couple had dated for seven years. His girlfriend had always joked that if they married, she and her sister would be a “package deal.” Her sweet sister has Down Syndrome and is diabetic and will always need to be in her sister’s care. Hannah was a part of the dating already. She went to the movies, to eat, and whatever else the couple did.

To me, this is an example of true, unselfish love. This is the kind of love that Jesus has for all of us, Christian or not. He has a love that is so magnificent we can’t even comprehend it. Don’t we all want that kind of love in our life? I know I do.

If you don’t know the love of Jesus Christ, you can right now by praying this prayer or any pray you wish:

Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer in sincere faith, we believe you are now saved. Congratulations!
