If you know me, you know I love a good chick flick…a good love story. When I saw the photo for the following post by Sheree Williams, I thought “Oh I have to read this.” It is indeed a story of true love.
“You’ve reached Keith Williams. I can’t answer the phone right now, but leave a message and I’ll call you back. And if this is Sheree, I love you.”
When my husband was still here, that’s what he recorded on his phone for missed calls. What faithful love. So unashamed and wanting everyone to know who he called his.
So often I miss him, miss being loved that intentionally, and miss being a wife.
I have the most amazing life with the “closest to perfect” kids there ever could be. I am so grateful and so full of joy. I serve a mighty God who LOVES me. Still, sometimes I long for a relationship again.
So I want to remind anyone who is also longing for something in this life, no matter what it may be, the same thing that my sweet Jesus reminds me of constantly.
He tells me that He so loved the world that He died for them. He came to conquer the things that don’t bring us life or separate us from Him.
He came for ANYONE that might choose Him. If we are willing, He meets all our needs and He satisfies our heart’s desires with His love. He will never leave or forsake us. He calls us “beloved.” He chose us before we even chose Him. He invites us into adventure with Him. He does new things every day, and allows us to be part of that.

What greater love than this?? So perfectly faithful. So unashamed. He wants everyone to know who He calls His.
