God loves us and cares about our needs and wants. But it is impossible to please Him without faith. Faith is what we need to access the power of God in our lives.

God is moved by faith, not by need, wants or desperation. No matter how desperate we may be or how badly we need something, our personal faith in God and His ability to provide what we need is what causes that amazing power to go to work in our situations and our lives.

Faith requires trust. Trust is built through relationships. This is one of the many reasons why our personal relationship with Christ is so important. God is willing and able to give us what we need, but we have to believe. We have to trust.

When we’re trying to move mountains, it helps to know what works and what doesn’t. Faith works.

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” – Matthew 17:20
