Kindness, simply kindness. That’s what this world needs and craves. Have you heard about the “Great Kindness Challenge?”

I hadn’t, but I’m glad I have now! This is a worldwide movement with millions of students in more than 100 countries. My hat’s off to the students at Lindale ISD, who are taking the Kindness Challenge and choosing to spread kindness and love. Fantastic!

“The students are so motivated, and the teachers have a great opportunity to teach lessons on kindness,”  said Kaela Deslatte, Principal of the Early Childhood Center.

Way to go guys! Some of the ways the students are showing kindness is a chain link with words of kindness, long enough to wrap around the school. WOW! Not only does this campaign teach our precious children about kindness, sharing and being good people, it helps others who may not have kindness in their lives.

As Christians, we should share God’s love by showing kindness to everyone we meet and know. Be kind, loving, thoughtful, supportive, helpful, reaching out to those who are lost and maybe suffering. This is our mission as Christians.

I pray The Great Kindness Challenge can be a stepping stone to healing and love for our world!

Remember, our God can do anything. Let’s be a part of it!
