Billy’s Donuts, a new donut shop, opened last week in Missouri City, Texas. The owner had a big banner outside of the shop announcing “Grand Opening.” The owner waited a while. Nobody was coming into his donut shop. The owner called his son, Billy, and told him about his dilemma.
His son felt so bad for his Dad, so he decided to post on Twitter, accompanied by a crying face emoji and a photo of his Dad behind the donut counter. It worked!
Within hours, Billy’s post had been retweeted thousands of times, and the shop had sold out. Even actor James Woods tweeted!
It’s awesome to see the love from people that you don’t even know.
I have this warm and fuzzy feeling! Remember that this world has good! Share some love today and let your light shine!
